Painter
Giuseppe Linardi was born in Buenos Aires and moved at a young age to Follonica, Italy, where he currently lives and works. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, developing a research focus on the relationship between image, perception, and reality.
In his artistic journey, the concept of decoding serves as both a theoretical and operational tool. Images undergo processes of decomposition and redefinition, reaching an unstable threshold between recognition and dissolution. Linardi has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the 56th Venice Biennale.
His pictorial practice is based on a dense weave of brushstrokes that evoke the logic of the pixel. The vision is built through stratification, requiring the viewerโs gaze to take time to interpret and navigate the work. This technique anticipates the fragmentation and recomposition typical of digital culture.
Within these scenarios, landscapes emerge where nature permeates hyper-modern urban contexts. Flowers and organic forms overlap with architectural structures, creating suspended and surreal visions. Nature becomes a transformative force, inviting reflection on the contemporary condition and our way of inhabiting the world.
